"two courtyards, one center"

Meron Airlines has not abandoned the exploration of new technology and new products since its establishment, and its annual R&D investment is more than 10% of the annual sales. In 2016, Meron Airlines cooperated with the Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to establish a research institute. In the same year, Meron Airlines, together with Jiangsu University and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, set up an engineering design institute. On this basis, Meron Airlines continued to invest in personnel and equipment, and established the enterprise's test center platform to provide various performance testing and testing for product upgrading, R&D and cost reduction. As a result, Meilong's R&D concept of "two courtyards, one center" has been formed.

In 2014, Jiangsu Meilong Aeronautical Components Co., Ltd. and Nanjing Aeronautical and Aeronautical University signed an agreement of production, education and research, and carried out the research on the assembly technology of composite wing box, the development of flexible tooling and the development of composite radome.

In 2015, Meron Airlines and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics jointly built a postgraduate workstation. In the same year, Meron Airlines and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics cooperated to declare the key R&D plan of Zhenjiang City, and received the support of the project.

In 2015, Jiangsu Meilong Aviation Components Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu University signed an agreement of production, teaching and research to jointly develop lightweight, fire-resistant and reinforced composite materials for aviation and vehicles.

In 2017, Jiangsu Meilong Aeronautical Components Co., Ltd. signed an agreement with the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences on the localization of halogen-free flame retardant resin matrix for aeronautical high flame retardant composite interior decoration. In August 2018, on the basis of earlier cooperation, Meron Airlines signed an agreement with the Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to build a technology research center. In October, the project was approved by provincial engineering and technology research center. In November, the project was approved by Jiangsu Province's Industry-University-Research Cooperation Project.
